The Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development says it identified anomalous activity on their network and immediately took the Jobs4TN system offline to halt the activity. Since Sunday, June 25, 2022 the Department has been working with the vendor that operates Jobs4TN.gov. Also since that time, about 12,000 Tennesseans have been unable to log weekly job search efforts that make them eligible for unemployment benefits from the state. The latest information from the vendor indicates no personal data was accessed, and no data was removed from its network operations center. The Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development is working around the clock to bring Jobs4TN back online. The Department anticipates that this will occur prior to the July 4th holiday.
Unemployment websites in several other states, including Louisiana, Nebraska, Florida and Texas, were also affected.
